this horse was favourite for the Epsom Derby having won v easily in the Dante (if you ignore Benvenuto Bellini) yet he starts qt 3/1 in a Group 2. That is why I put it in the tipping comp today

My best day of racing for a very long time. Moonrise, Item and now Kalpana. Great day for my ex student (at RAC Cirencester), Andrew Balding! Most valuable prize of his career I think.
Well played sage. Backed Kalpana to win 20k in the Arc and a big bet lto and was primed for a big bet on it today but the price halved so switched to Minnie who a few reliable shrewdies told me was the value. That hurt but pleased you won 
Strange market moves. I took 11 on here ante post once I knew the entries and was a bit disappointed to see her drift to around 15 this morning. From then on the money came. Lump on for the Ascot fillies and mares in October but wait until we are sure she is a runner.
Didn't know Andrew Balding was a trainee at an RAC Callcenter, learn something new every day.
