What do want to do in that Market?
By:
There is not a copper coin available on "yes" with £7011 wanting on at 1.01
By:
IHTH
By:
Yes, £1500 of that 7k is mine, as that's what I have as 'available to bet', but I want to add the £5950 to it, which would not leave any liability or reds, nor would it exceed exposure limits, so why am I receiving the 'You do not have sufficient available funds to place these bets or you have exceeded your exposure limit.' message?
By:
check what your exposure limit is, and if you have any bets on any other markets. world cup maybe ?
By:
Iron will lead you up the garden path imo…..

I have pointed out the facts to the O/P,Aceform.
You.on the other hand, post utter shyte, you clueless, losing Two Bobber. Feel free to point out any errors ![]() |
By:
Are you trying to get £1500 + £5950 (£7450)?
By:
No, not in total, just to add £4450 (of the £5950 that I have green on 'no'), to the £1500 I've got waiting already; no reds, no exceeding limits
By:
Try another lower amount,£4400,see if that goes in the queue.
By:
The only chance of you getting on the 1.01 is if you don't need to,O/P
By:
Penzance, thanks for trying to help; I've tried lower amounts, but am not being allowed anything beyond my 'available to bet' figure, (which the £1500 already waiting has swallowed up), with no recognition of, or allowance for, any of the £5950 green. I would assume that, in a two-runner market, I could stake the £5950 before a penny of my 'available to bet' was affected
By:
even if you managed it whats the odds of someone laying it all?
By:
cos u have £5 990 it wins £4945..that doesnt mean you can then bet that amount at 1.01 as u dont have £4945 to bet with.
By:
I shouldn't need £4945 available to bet, because I have £5950 green on the only other runner, so I should be able to back the whole £5950 without it affecting my balance at all. The £1500 I have waiting has come from 'available to bet', which shouldn't be happening.
By:
Don't know if any of it will be matched, but I have had £1200 matched today
By:
if you cancel all pending bets how much is your balance?
By:
sounds daft with no other possible outcome, but probably it's an incomplete market template.
By:
most politics markets are incomplete. eg if someone backed Fatface in the by election, any other runner added would automatically be red. you can test this by laying No instead (it won't be matched obviously, but I'd expect it to be stacked.
By:
Hugo; I have £1500 waiting to back 'yes' which, if cancelled brings my balance from zero to £1500
Cider; it's a yes/no market, no possibility of other runners, so gotta assume the market's 'complete' |
By:
i hads the same with ante post horse racing few months backi was green on all tinners but if i wanted to trade i wasnt able etc , its terrible, but it will sort itself out at the conclusion

Hugo; I have £1500 waiting to back 'yes' which, if cancelled brings my balance from zero to £1500 sew how do ewe expect to bet another $4450? |
By:
Because the only other runner is currently £5950 green! Meaning I should be able to bring that green to zero, transfering all my green to the other, without it affecting my balance at all. Then, if I wanted to, I should also be able to back with the £1500 available, rather than the current situation, which is being able to use the £1500 and not being able to use the £5950. 21 years on here, I've never before seen a two-runner market behave like this
By:
I know tim, but humans make mistakes.
I'm right, I think. If you eg put up 100 at 5 on yes, it doesn't also appear on the No side as an offer to back at 1.25 (as it should). Test that on another politics market eg Andy Crapp to be pm at the next general, an unmatched offer will show up on both sides (at obviously the relative inverse price). |

again, ive had loads of these on outright markets etc, its a nightmare, just 1 thing you could is check your current exposure , that helps me to make some sense occassionly . ill put up a thread i had on few weeks back
