So just on the off I get a bet matched on screen. False start, market refreshes and the bet has vanished, like it never existed? This has to be in house shenanigans.

Jamie, I've been around the block. I saw it and then it was gone! The bet was matched exactly as the race went off. It was a false start, the screen reverted to 'not in play' and the bet vanished.
i got the bet on, i have no grudge. I know it sounds crazy, but that is what I saw, a piddly £2 bet matched and then vanished.
mebbe matched in play then false start cancels it..only explanation.
That must be it. Didn't occur to me. Rare situation. Thanks Hugo.
I am pretty sure that the bet was placed marginally before the race went 'in play'. I'm not totally satisfied but happy to have made a public note of it.
