I’ve added the ones I could remember but the question marks are because they may have changed final selections, happy to add Foyles and Brandy treble as at least they’ve joined in.
Respect, good luck let’s hope that it’s a humdinger!

Should be on the fast side of good. Fresh strip of ground as usual on the rail.
Good luck all. The best day of racing in the calender year. Enjoy

A fair drift on my selection, now 15/8 in places and very weak. Same thing yesterday before hardening again but the money seems to be for Kalpana more than any other, btw 365 going evs from 8/13 for her to finish in the top 5 if anyone fancies that.

Only 0.1mm of rain after racing. The weather is 25C and sunny. The ground will be Good, Good to Firm, as expected by most. There's also a cutaway early in the home straight. I just hope Maltese Cross and Diamond Necklace will take advantage of it with aplomb.
Maltese and Diamond to fight out the finish (?).

Graffard looked very nervous with Trapman just now, surprised that his shades never fell apart such was his fiddling with them!
He’s echoed what I said and tried to show with the photos posted. That if you fancy Maltese Cross then you have to like Varandir… possibly others from early season form.

Not what France Galop say, they are saying the same as Yesterday (Bon Souple ) Good-Soft.
May get some idea from the times of the first couple of races.

In French horse racing and turf terminology, "bon souple" describes turf or ground conditions that are "good to soft". • Bon: Means "good". • Souple: Means "soft", "supple", or "flexible" (in racing, it refers to turf with some give or moisture).

Thundering On should be fav , with all the allowances, she's certainly the one to beat.Just enough juice there, I'd say; I reckon she's a cracking value.

Well done winners mine were duff and the one that gave up placed!
No doubt the 3 yr old fillies were better, if only BEHRANA was there, not that they’re bothered.

Biased of course but why did Colin Keane give up his early position? Kalpana was still gaining at the line but far too much to do. Should have been at least fourth.

28 Pages for a race that could have been summed up in a sentence. Overkill doesn't come close.
You are a grumpy one sometimes, DD

Sunly might have been beaten yesterday but deserved to run there.
Guess next year as a 5 year old like Kap, funny how Graff kept the fairer sex away from Daryz!

Yeah Ace, for me Sunly deserved to be there, next year I guess as a five year old like Kap this year.
Funny how Graff kept the two from the fairer sex away from the race!

And the other stablemate who on form woulda been thereabouts retired injured!
They knew the fillies and mares were better than the 3 yr old colts, I’m sure

But also sting they’d love to try for 3, their mo with retiring the fillies was that they are too valuable, their careers were cut short so he’s got to be worth far too much to race again?

Kalpana not good enough to beat Daryz but when you jump and get the rail after a furlong on a real stayer (which she is) why drop back and allow Daryz first run. She did scrape 5th which is a bit better than last year.

Soumi I’ll miss, glad he’s had winners, just watching back, Daryz followed him on Diamond all the way. Wasn’t worried being 3 wide as he followed who he wanted.

Some run from BCR and DN but struggle to have them on ablity alone and more the draw forced thar hands and actually suited them and perhaps ground was better off rail. Daryz just gets the trip perfectly and quickens effortlessly, has a class temperament. Wasn't too messy a race. Fav really dug me out as had laid second, every days a learning day. Kalpana as mentioned gave up a nice slot, pretty tame tbh and I suspected hard against the rail wasn't the best ground but they must of walked track. From that draw should been able to sit closer and just off rail but prob wasn't/isn't quite top drawer.
Caps off to Daryz.

Think he outstayed them BnB both hadn’t much form over the distance, Barza gave him 3 sharp cracks to get DN once in control he eased. Had the perfect toe and as you say might have been on the best land.
Glad Bay Cuty showed up well and that Epsom wasn’t a fluke.

Rishi on ITV reckoned the status of Daryz could be elevated to that of Dancing Brave. Really? Dancing Brave beat Bering, the unbeaten champion of France, Triptych, Shahrastani and Shardari. This renewal is pretty mediocre despite winning it in consecutive years.
Shame there was no interview of Princess Zahra post her horse's triumph on ITV.

you are right penzance . think maybe even 11 or 12 . i was there in 1986 and it was thrilling , but take nothing away from today's 2 time winner . i backed the stable companion that was given a shocking ride but the winner's turn of foot was a joy to watch . the arc is still the benchmark middle distance race in europe by some way , and how nice to see it run on decent ground .
