Getting your steps in has long been linked to better health - and for the first time the NHS-backed scheme will start giving people rewards for doing exercise.

Early next year, NHS England will launch a "marathon a month" challenge, asking people to walk for around 30 minutes a day.

Those who do it every day will hit roughly 26 miles a month - the distance of a marathon.
Users will be able to log their walks online, or through their phone or smartwatch.
And the NHS says those who complete the challenge will then be eligible for rewards - which could include incentives and discounts.

Not left the bedsit since covid some of 'emMischief no chance of any discountsWhoops

That's me then. What's the reward? £100 annually similar to Nationwide would be nice. I think the NHS should charge the fatties who've over-indulged in food and drinks. They should help to pay extra even as taxpayers because they'll most likely be using the NHS more than the average joe or harriet.

I d say mostly the people who dont work much use it more, if you re working ya probably not use it much.

The NHS should have set charges at the door of every A+E imo.

Any Narcotic issue £100
Any pretendee MH issue £85
Any silly issue caused by self idiocy £75
Any intoxicated fool being mouthy and aggressive £150
Any waste of NHS time £80

Cant speak the lingo or you pay for the translator on a minute by minute old school pips and the call ends type effort.

NHS should give you financial credits for the amount of BS some posters put on here, the more BS the more you get. I can talk some pony and would be well paid, however there is probably 1,000 in front of me for top bucks.

. The human body cannot get enough protein, fats, vitamins, and minerals from just 600 calories. Over time, this leads to deficiencies that can affect muscles, organs, and immunity.Shocked
