home crowd, altitude, England out of sorts, prices look wrong.....
...so as with my betting lately, I shall go against my judgement and back Engerland on the day. Could be nearer a coin toss come Monday. 1.86 now.

Are the stakes being put up pre match for this good thing?
I’m just wary after the “Field of Gold incident”, I am the Best thread, Ben The Chester Vase winner and future Epsom winner thread….

Considering how last nights game went with The Paraguyans (spelling) basically kicking 7 ****s out of the French, The ref who booked 3 French players and zero Paraguyans was from Uzbekistan.
Tonight's ref is from Iran......I shall say no more.
England will do very well to qualify, let alone win.
I have not backed Mexico as I cannot back against my own Country but if pushed we will be travelling home on Tuesday.

It's a no watch no trade game. Could be weather interrupted. Gawd knows what time it would end. If you bet England pre kick off you need your head tested. Players unacclimatised to altitude generally struggle for breath after 20 mins. It takes around 20 days to get acclimatised. Any weather delays means the players will spend at least 30 mins in the warm up area trying to keep their muscles warm. Could be more that one delay.

The 1970 England squad coped with the Mexican altitude by arriving a full month before the tournament. Under manager Sir Alf Ramsey, they used this time to meticulously acclimatize, even touring Colombia and Ecuador for further altitude and heat exposure before their opening match.
