Strongly against The ARC - John Magnier

With respect what does he know about the present ARC? The ARC has been devalued ever since the owners of the best 3yr olds have been shunning the race esp Coolmore for breeding purposes. Repeatedly the best colts (not fillies) have opted not to run instead chosen America instead eg City Of Troy.

I'd rather have the best horses running including the geldings rather than a managed or substandard ARC where the best 3 yr old colts are absent. The ARC is a test for the best horses of all ages against their elders. The ARC is the most prestigious race in Europe. As such, the best horses must be allowed to run including geldings or a freak eg 3 legged ones.

I do not want to see The ARC continuing to exclude the geldings and turning into a glorified Gp1 like the present Grand National. One bad dapple is one too many.
