It is very simple Delbert ( a bit like you). The RP Standard time for 12F at The Curragh is 2.31.9 The RP Standard time for 12F at Epsom is 2.35.6 If that Bell a moron so be it but it is a fact

Whatever you say, my fault I didn’t read your post and take that much notice of it, trying to compare others to the AOB isn't really in my interest with a fanboy of his.

I cannot see Con River (CR) taking on Ombudsman unless vfa is in his favour. I'll take Ombudsman to eat CR for breakfast over 10f, all things being equal.
It is not the fault of AOB to avoid the champion of its division ie Ombudsman. But, for the game of the sport AOB / Coolmore ought to pitch their best horses including 3 yr olds against Ombudsman eg CR given the distance of The Eclipse and International at York.
I was gobsmacked to read Magnier Snr was against the inclusion of geldings in The ARC solely on breeding. As a racing fan I do not give two hoots about breeding. I just like to see the best horses run in a race. Anyway Coolmore have been breeding mediocre Derby winners, a disservice to horseracing in my opinion.
Golden Horse won The ARC from stall 14 as a 3 yr old. Similarly, Sea The Stars won The ARC too as a 3 yr old. These two names are still fresh in the minds of many racing enthusiasts contrary to those from The AOB / Coolmore eg here today, gone tomorrow.

Only one firm are showing on OC, some really desperate to try and get one over on me it seems!
What a sad bitter lot.
We all know Clooney lives in Stoke and it’s a dark and shabby town, according to Trapman.
We all know mark is one of the luckiest trainers to ever have won the Arc.
He’s an assswipe by the way for his love and admiration for Bull Fighting.

Who’s stepping up taking the 11/10 about the odds on shot on the faith that he shows up on Saturday?
Today after the news broke about earlier that you were told about yesterday?
List below all backers :

As said it’s not showing on OC and I don’t want to place it, the point is we should be able to play the game vs the trainer and their antics.
You get me?
I don’t have an account with them, told them to poke it when they wouldn’t take a 63.

AOB left Ben in the King Edward at Ascot citing it was a long way to the Irish Derby. What, 9 days apart? Mr Gosden was correct not to send his star to run in the backyard of AOB given the battalion and team tactic AOB regularly deployed.

For those who think that it’s all conspiracy talk it’s not, it’s about working out who’s going where.
I play AP unlike many of you but like Impossible does too.
You’re right he did Impossible another occasion when he played the game.
Had no intention of going to Ascot but told his buds at the post and they were happy to report it.
Thanks for the heads up.For those who think that it’s all conspiracy talk it’s not, it’s about working out who’s going where. I play AP unlike many of you but like Impossible does too. You’re right he did Impossible another occasion when he
Sir henry and most trainers did tell people their plans , harwood for instance told all that d brave was craven, 2000 and derby all along , henry said tenby was dante and derby , and that he was running comm in chief coz he thought tenby wouldnt stay, hern didnt say a thing about nashwan before 2000 . but afterwards he said eclpse, kg arc trial , and those trainers usually stood by their plans but for injury etc

The top trainer would bypass the Irish Derby for the King Edward? Only an invertebrate or a moron would believe that.
I cannot see Con River and Hawk Mountain doing battle in The Eclipse. Both may turn up running against Ombudsman in The International. Let's hope Soumillon rides Hawk Mountain. I've little doubt a team tactic will once again be utilised by AOB / Coolmore.

With Henry, Stoute, Cumani, Harwood, etc, they did not run a battalion or deploy team tactic in the race. A pacesetter at best eg Cataldi in a Gp 1. These trainer were gentlemen, sporting and principled. Also, very seldom did they've multiple entries for their stars.

DEL, you didnt see dancing brave run, ? harwood stable those days was superb, great horses Warning, saddam, to agori, to name a few , he was training in the era of seriously great trainers and jockeys , i was lucky enough to remember the 70s to 90s era .

Save your breath, it's a waste of time. A couple of numpties that wouldn't know the difference between Longchamp and Lingfield even if they tripped over a copy of Paris Turf.
I fail to understand why anyone would have a pop at AOB simply over entries, they are what it says on the tin. As for Constitution River not running against Hawk Mountain, why not, they met 30 days ago. I'm not suggesting they will both run, but why wouldn't they.
Workrider, York in August ? I may come over.

Andrew aka Snotty nose, keep your cheap digs to yourself, you’re not as clued up as you make out, that’s been proven.
You thought a pit pony like Aventure was up to winning the Arc last year giving weight to 3 years!
I’d posted that it wasn’t likely but I’m glad you did your money you jumped up pilchard!

And what ALB does with his entries time and again is out of order, he’s no nice guy but as you show and others on here there’s lots of bitter c you next turedsays on here!

A few trips to London in the planning 'pipeline' and even thinking about Sandown if Constitution River runs this weekend, but prior to York, the only meeting in Dublin i would go over for is the Oaks on July 26th. Calandagan runs at Saint Cloud on Sunday, another possible as it's close, better than the German Derby in Hamburg and not much difference in distance.

Don't blame The O'Brians for this, blame the British trainers reluctant to run against them.
The smart ones are Burrows, Charlton and Varian who have entered runners that between them have
0nly a G 3 win a G 3 2nd and 2 Listed wins. Why are they smart? Because,by the time 2 or 3 come out
they have a shot at 3rd 4th 5th or 6th prize money- 106.8k, 53.3k, 26.2k and 17.4k respectively.

Aidan O'Brien will surprisingly run both Constitution River and Hawk Mountain in Saturday's Coral-Eclipse (3.35). The Ballydoyle trainer kept four in contention for the 1m2f Group 1 at Monday's confirmations stage, but he said at that point no decision would be made over the participation of key players Constitution River and Hawk Mountain.
O'Brien had indicated it would be one or the other, but he revealed to the Racing Post on Wednesday afternoon that connections have decided both will head to Sandown.
Is it clear now what I dislike?
Don’t make any suggestion to the media as it’s misleading. I’ll let you question why he’s doing it.
But from my point of view it’s to play one off of the other.
There was hardly anything between them at Chantilly yet because of the trainers words prices were 10/11 vs 16/1

The 3rd issue with the bet was that prices for the International @ York weren’t available when 16/1 was for this race.
Yet we can bet on Cheltenham next year!
By the time prices were up the odds had been slashed yesterday.
So Penzance there is no proposed or supposed double because the odds weren’t there on offer.

There seems a lack of opinion on here about the winner, has AOB running two confused punters?
Because that’s what I’ve been suggesting is his aim for some time now.

The blinkers are off today but what else do you notice?
Looked like Moore was giving a good squeeze there the get over the line in a race set up for him.
I’d wondered at the time if he might drop back to take on Bow at Goodwood immediately after this race.

I’m not criticising it Ace, there is an element of intrigue here because of how close they finished last time out, plus taking on their elders. We had a match up between the generations in the Gala Stakes yesterday.
On or from a ratings perspective it’s not a classic but I’m not a ratings follower.

How can this renewal be viewed as a classic? The shortie Con River has not won the 2000G or the Epsom Derby. The shortie has only the French Derby - not a race considered as significant or prestigious as the named two in the past; AOB usually sends his 2nd string there. Also, he was helped by the injudicious riding of the local jockeys who gave the AOB's jockeys an uncontested lead and team tactic for the best result possible.

A stern opposition to Ombudsman for The International at Goodwood? A good race in prospect if both turn up. My money is on Ombudsman for his sheer turn of foot eg race alongside Con River just behind the pacesetters, and then pounce using his turn of foot as Con River takes it up. It will be a very tactical race, with team tactic in operation no doubt. I hope Ombudsman is not blocked in by the AOB's battalion.

I think that it’s very sad that a Group 1 winner gets sacrificed again, to play punters between the two.
No one pre race came on and said Fav wins beats Hawk easier this time. Was ridden to get beat, but I’m not a steward.
As for Kings Gambit holding him in a little it was never going to last and nothing like Ascot.

Agree terrible judgement from Doyle, horse pulls too much for my liking, did last time and one to be wary of until it can race efficiently.
Sweat was dripping off too today.

to be fair ive had about enough of that brown wathnan fella been treated a some sort of racing sage at the big meetings for buying up all these hores for undisclosed sum only to get their tummy,s tickled by AOb and johnny g every week

Did you see the interview with him beforehand (itv) only said he was hopeful, not confident.
Was different to the hype posted about Burrows yesterday in the RP from that night at Sandown. Almeric got too close there for my liking.
They’ve had a slightly better time, I recall last year laughing at them being the unlucky lot, buying and winning little.
Like many football teams!

I've just read (what's been reported) Moore said Con River is the best horse he's ridden. If he meant of all AOB's charges, I'd agree. The AOB / Coolmore horses were not superstars like Frankel, Dancing Brave, Seat The Stars, Treve, Golden Horn or even Enable. His next assignment against Ombudsman - all things being equal - could be a confirmation of his position in the hierarchy of horsey supremacy. Until then today's renewal is one of the weakest in the history of the race.

He beat A BOY Named a 1/4L more than when he reached wide, let’s put it into perspective.
The horse has won one race and benefitted from others over racing in G1’s and only won 1 race.

Didn't get the first opening, took second one and settled race quickly.
Look forward to seeing it do that against better horses, that might fight back.

Looked laboured to me, they said let’s hope we see what we see at home etc… he’s never been bottomed, plodded on today to 1/4L more.
And wasn’t the stables only runner!
So they now use real bad horses to set the initial pace and Group winners or placed to sit forwards so that they aren’t ignored like a normal 200/1 shot setting the fractions!
