Magic parsnips only last so long.

Not the totally different going then?

Legacy link didn’t run well in the Ribbledale
Felicitas was unsighted in the Prix Diane … |

The usual cobblers from Dickster

Going may not have helped. Drop in distance may not have helped. Reasonably quick turnaround from a classic may not have helped. Facing her elders may not have helped. Probably bang average may not have helped. Magic parsnips don't last forever DEFINITELY has not helped.

Delbert obviously missed the crossed noseband coming off Legacy Link in the stalls at Ascot

Was it declared a non runner?

Any theory on Felicitas beaten 8+ lengths?
|

Cameo also been beaten since along with second Fav.
The fav looked a right doggette in blinkers and hood! ![]() |

It did look a poor Oaks beforehand, a G2 masquerading as a G1. I hope to see something a bit special in the Irish Derby though

It certainly would not have helped it breath, you Autistic moron

Whippin are you cheering the Fav for that tomoz?

Pre race quote from trainer, ground make no difference

|
By:
No. I'm cheering on the Owen Burrows runner who goes into the Lion's den

If Legacy was a cert would they have brought over the French filly? Gilded Prize for the Ribbs?

It is always best to let the horse prove that before parting with money, deptford

My comment straight after the Oaks :
DixieDean6005 Jun 26 16:37Joined: 01 Apr 25 | Topic/replies: 1,897 | Blogger: DixieDean60's blog Lots of people getting carried away by the winner here, let's see how she gets on later in the season. It didn't look the greatest of renewals beforehand and there were some that obviously didn't stay and/or act on the ground. ![]() |

Time will tell,DD.
I certainly wouldn't be in a rush to Lay if the fav encounters soft ground later on |

NYJINSKY can ret eay for another season

I wouldn’t have been rushing to back her at 8. earlier
Fair play DD |

Yet another superb aftertime by the Autistic loon

Having seen Ascot and the rest of the above (form of the oaks) since it’s hardly that.
Simply wasn’t asked would I back @ 8 for Longchamps ![]() |

I'm sure she will still be a force if encountering the kind of conditions Oaks day provided.
I just thought some of the comments about her straight after the race were a tad OTT. But we all have our opinions and its good that we can express them ![]() |

Indeed it is,DD

Some can without the repetition that is!

It's funny I don't remember too many of the cheerleaders who went completely overboard mentioning it might be a rubbish Oaks run on testing ground.

The Vet reported that Thundering On coughed post race
|
|
By:
another classic winner found out, and ill say here now like last year there wont be many 3 year old group1 winners coming from coolmore against their elders bow echo will dominate the milers, ombudsman unbeatable and 12 furlong the elders will dominate,
|
|
By:
With it looking likely that today's Derby winner will run in the Irish Champion Stakes it would've been nice to see Ombudsman keep the entry as well. But York seems to be Gosden's priority atm.

Looks like James L Braddock was being fed the same diet of parsnips before Epsom, slickster! When they wear off they wear off in style!I'm sure Jim Bolger would have something to say on the matter(I don't think he's a great fan of that chancer,Blake, either)

There’s always an excuse! Do horses only cough after the race? ![]() |

By:
If the horse coughed before the race it would not have run.
I am surprised that you haven't accused the Race Course Vet,you utter loon,Delbert |
|
By:
I’m sure that it wouldn’t have, after all they ran Ben in the Derby knowing it’d hate the ground and track!
But was ridden out the back and looked after best they could! And was declared a non runner! ![]() What a bonus! |
