Ask yourself what you did for a living ?  Then the mark upon whatever you did or was paid, bet it was more than 42%

Well for 20 years i managed betting shops around the south of England and then 16 years in the ambulance service; not sure I understand you logic Jersey.

Well having been a racecourse bookie for over 50 years.   That is beside the point.  If a shopkeeper buys an item to sell does he mark up more than 42%  ?  If you employ a tradesman and pay him 40 per hour what rate do you charge out  more than 42% for sure.
