Spot on Clacton. Brutal here in London. 32c in the shadiest part of my flat. Comfortably the hottest day here whatever the Met say. Much worse than the previous 2-3 days.

I have a barometer Hugo. Mum and dad bought it for my 40th birthday. I must have been nuts to ask for it! I guess I couldn't risk asking for booze'n****. Anyway it is pretty accurate. Never known it as bad as it is today. Anyway, chin up. Chilled white wine out.  Thank god it wasn't like this last week. No Royal Ascot. Which would have been awful.
