Winning isn't a priority for any of those runners, which is why backing unraced horses (unless you know they are trying to win as a priority) is doomed to fail.
Arguably Mics is doomed to fail anyhow. The winner probably got the worst ride, hacking pace on a staying type. But he was hacking as part of its education, and those may well have been the instructions. |
