As a young boy Petite Etoile was my favourite horse - I think it was the name that first attracted me and then the lovely grey filly with her acceleration. Similarily, the name Heart of Midlothian and their colours made them my favourite Scottish team lol. The innocence and joy of youth!
The top horses seemed to run more often in those days than they do now and were therefore in the spotlight more often. |
