Obviously anyone who follows the yard cares. I have taken much more note of PJ McDonald since he has been the go to jockey for Andrew Balding at northern meetings.

Yep ...he's rode at a few meetings the last couple of weeks where Bethell has runners and he hasn't been in the plate.

I notice in the past few weeks he's had rides(some winners)for the likes of Burrows,Crisford,Fanshawe and other Newmarket trainers...maybe planning to base himself there...Ed Bethells 3 at Musselburgh tomorrow ridden by Beasley..
