My Dad named our Dog Grundy. He most likely did his spuds on the race Blush

I can't split them. Two of the best races I've ever seen.

Maybe not in ratings compared to Grundy but on the thrill of the race I'll raise you both with Ouija Board vs Alexander GoldrunGrin

2 great races, if there was a pole and we could watch one....... no doubt Grundy & Bustino because it was building up all week and the race produced. Best NH race, Dessie winning the gold cup or the race at Ascot against Panto Prince.

Greville Starkey just held off Pat Eddery in the St James Palace at Ascot and turned to give Pat the V sign after passing the post, presume it was for Victory.
TAM had won the 2000gns and was then just btn by KL in the Irish 2000gns but was awarded the race in the stewards room. KL owners appealed the decision and it was reversed weeks later, setting up the showdown at Ascot.
