Buick spent a lot of the last furlong trying to sort out his whip and steering.

May have cost it.

I agree Moore would have won on Trawlerman imo

jocks to busy listening to pundits like booby etc about tactics  and now riding races to try and put others out of position, rather than just ride a race on their own horse .Murphy doing an arrazi early on and losing a distance indie a furlong late on

think the rail made the difference on the 2nd punching for as long as he did

2 great jockeys but I'll always take Moore against Buick in a finish.

I think a lack of an outing this season was the major difference between Trawlerman and Scandinavia today. Next time would be different.

Trawlerman was a tad keen, unlike last year. Small margins and was beat a small margin.

If Murphy was on the same horses Moore was on he'd have ridden the same number of winners...probably.

Moore said Murphy kept coming in and making him go outside away from the rail.

As you know I’m not a fan at all of Buick he is shyte…But watched that race mines was nowhere Rahiebb but at that final furlong Buick had him he actually should have won it but he had no chance with Moore he was so much stronger nothing to do with Trawlerman he had a weak weak jockey on board that was a power packed ride and if anyone had a lot of wedge on Scandanavia you truly have Moore to thank for getting him up on that line…Superb strength from Moore

Think a less experienced jockey would've lost on Scandinavia. Trawlerman is very game and Moore waited until the final strides for everything.

That was one of the great races that will stand the passage of time, an absolute privilege to witness, up there withe Grundy-Bustino classic! Stop griping about the jockeys, the stars were Scandinavia and Trawlerman!

The fav is unlikely to win easily or by far.
I think Moore was correct that it was better than the winning margin
By:

think the winner is better at 2 miles
