Football has become like American 'Football'

A game of 4 quarters

Hydration breaks are no different to when a keeper goes down with an 'injury' mid way through a half. Sponge man/woman comes on for 3 mins to treat him while the rest of the team gather around the manager to take on fluid and discus tactics.

Has anyone noticed thatno physios have come on. Not seen one.

Players simply get up.

If only all football could be like that.

I wasn’t a fan of the drink breaks, nor am I here for religious reasons, but I’ll take the pause with this style of football where no one rolls about and two cleaners dressed up as physios come running on with deep heat to spray over the top of a sock. Laugh

even with 2 official 3 min breaks, there's more injury time in most EPL games
20 games in EPL would mean around over 2n hrs of VAR checks, here there's been about 10 mins of var in 20 games,no GK going down pretending to be injured as the other 10go to touchline for a team talk, no 2 mins over every throwing, set piece,no 2 mins for a subbed player to get off the pitch, if they've swapped all that for an official 3 min break ,great
itv/BBC never hut up about it as though a goal was never scored between
23 and 45th min or 66th to 90th min before hydration breaks,
they tell us 18 goals have been scored inside 10 mins of the breaks, in 20 games, which is basically useless that without telling us how many were scored in 1st 20 games between , 23 and 33rd min,and 66th and 76th min at the last world cup
even if it turns out the breaks are bringing  more goals so what its what everyone wants to see isnt it ?
