That's a bit harsh, bad draw and didn't get the best run, not punished.
I backed Quest for fun that day and have again, I've also backed Jannas Journey
at good odds. I should know better really but can't resist these h'caps sometimes.

Jannas journey first three. needs rousting and I don't believe the jockey has the necessary to get it in front.
Feel the Need won this off 74 and was second off 78 (73 today).
Sir Hugh has killed the price though, and with his form this year may have put the hex on it.
Must be thereabouts if not drawn too high.
