An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race inside the final ½ furlong involving the winner THE HARV (IRE), ridden by Oisin Murphy and OAKFORD (IRE), placed second, ridden by Lewis Edmunds. The Stewards considered that the incident had not improved the placing of THE HARV (IRE) as no interference had taken place and the incident was caused by OAKFORD (IRE) shifting left-handed of its own accord when tiring, prior to this THE HARV (IRE) had stepped left-handed towards OAKFORD (IRE) however this appeared to not have affected the colt which was able to remain true and straight in the subsequent strides only shifting left-handed independently thereafter.

that stewards explanation is simply cringeworthy..1f out they are 5yds from the rails..they are leaning on each other last fur and 30yds ish out the winner 100% edges left and gives 2nd a sl nudge and they end up 3yds from the rails.
