Horatio, good tip I saw an advert once, might have been a spoof, where you could buy this carvery special one-visit tree thing...it was made of plastic, with a big round base that sat on the plate, with all branches coming off of it, each with a different bowl to put your grub in, about a foot tall...!!!
I'd have liked to see their faces if you took that up to the carvery counter...

I would suggest Toby can't be as bad as Greene King pubs. The food is invariably luke warm and their Pale ale, 3.4% ffs, is awful as well. I Only go when forced, but it's too often. Holmfield Arms, Wakefield is the one.

those in training shoes rarely look as though they have ever done any. they are to be worn for playing sport, or should be

Feasible or not I can get one with A very good pizza for 7.50 Or with a curry, rice naan and chipatis for a tenner. I couldn't give a toss about the ambience, I'm hungry.

Was in a brewers fare type carvery a few years back, so they done an all you can eat thing on a wed, it was wed I was in. Was like an industrial feed lot and the super size brigade were in, some of them had two forks one in each hand and were demolishing mountainous volumes of gravey drenched mash n greens. Their hands were moving very quickly and looked like a helicopter type mechanical feeding, was absolute disgusting to watch, I walked out and have never been for a carvery since.
