Embarrassing doesn’t begin to describe this. Also no Generous, no Grundy, no Slip Anchor, all comfortably rated superior to Pour Moi. There must be zero editorial control left at the channel. Yet happy to pump untold money into tiresome, overly long interviews passed off as racing greats.

Nashwan was much better at 10 furlongs, ended up winning a very ordinary renewal. Obviously, a Dettori fan had something to do with the choice.

Whilst theses things are subjective I would defy anybody to show me how Pour Moi was placed second

Another classic piece from the "expert" Racing channel; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qo1YqnmM-4A

According to our racing "experts" this time, Bob Back (3rd to Pebbles and Rainbow Quest in the 1985 Eclipse), won the 1984 St Leger!

The present Racing TV journos / pundits are a bunch of misfits not fit to lick the boots of their predecessors.

No Sea Bird? That is offensive!

I haven't seen the list but a head the other way and I bet El Gran Senor would have been in there but I also bet that Secreto is nowhere near itGrin

looking purely at the epsom race for a neutral one of the most exciting derby winners perhaps?

It must be post 1970.
In which case Pour Moi is worthy of his place in the top two.

An outstanding race horse who went on to win many more group 1's.

brandy must be fishing. In common with Secreto, Pour Moi never ran again after winning the Derby.

He was entered for the Arc and was AP fav but was withdrawn due to injury and retired Sad

They asked Dick Hern if Nashwan would be alright running around Epsom?
He replied the horse would run up the side of a house if he asked it to

As I remember Dick Hern was on the cold list for some time before Derby day. On Derby day he won an early race before Nashwan. Now all is well wheelbarrow job. Nashwan a snug winner. Oh memories!!, 'Diamonds and Rust', (Joan Baez).
