Hardly Lester Piggott, is he?

McCoy was a far more dominant figure - and arguably much more reliable - but didn't always get a ride in the Gold Cup.

Agreed different but just think for this particular course where I presume Murphy has more experience I should think Balding would choose him if he could. Of course now Keane's a certainty !!!

talking of Lester Piggott one of his daughters horses running in a Derby must always be scrutinised closely when was the last time haggas had a Derby runner?
