Every year it always is the worst Oaks/Derby.

Gosden lifts this imo.

Didn't lose any sleep - could always be a smash bang performance with horses and there you have it, a memorable horse

tbh the standard of horses for some reason or other is very poor for years now, at least today weve got most of the trial winners here, plus 3rd from the 1000

It does look poor, not sure the Derby is that brilliant either.
Split stakes between the two Beckett outsiders. One places, it's a small profit. Hopefully, the ground is soft enough to give them a chance. |

never know, sense in running you might see the winner easy this year but never know

Only 2 trainers (once each), apart from O'Brien or Gosden have won it in the past 15 years
Almost a race that is sewn up. |

Poor race from an each-way angle with two fancied one's and the relatively unconsidered rag holding on to third. Doyle had two furlongs to go past the third and wasn't strong enough to do it.
Good luck with hyping the winner. Bookmakers no doubt already rubbing their hands. Made them look second rate which is probably what they are. O'Brien improving, only 57 losers in the last fortnight. I can't remember any top level performer he has been consistent with. I doubt this will be any different. |

Anybody calling that a poor Oaks should be in Care

Poor race from an each-way angle
They had 3 Beckett runners @ 20/1 offered 3 places, the books are taking to mick, one should have been 20, next 25, then 33/1 Not like the old days when you had 40/1 and 50/1 shots etc |

Too soon to be rubishing the race . Most of them did not stay , no surprise . The winner may be very good , particularly at one and a half miles ( plus?) , time will tell . Gina was very sweet on her chances pre race .

has it got american connections because quite a few at that stable do - they club together at the sales to team up and get nicer purchases?
Many congratulations - the Betfair pre-race was the horse gamely coming 3rd and 4th and 2nd in Ireland |
