I finally had to block certain users who just snipe at others, often using abusive language.

TBF there is plenty of both these things on this forum these days. Sadly, there is less actual racing and betting discussion and places that actually stick to that are probably better. Plenty OT posting on here too, (not even sports or betting) which doesn't exactly help. However, for minute to minute responses during the racing day, there's very little alternative as a forum either. No other forum gives a monkey's about following racing, rides, prices etc as this forum does. So for now, it's the only option. We can I suppose take the rough with the smooth and keep this forum for what it is. When it goes, there probably won't be another one like it for racing or betting. |

Hit the nail on the head Brandy. It's easy to ignore the childish bantering when the thread title makes it obvious and if others get some enjoyment on those threads that's fine but it is galling when a sensible thread is hijacked by the usual suspects and descends into the boring behaviour.
