Just been onto Baldy Customer Services...they say they've been inundated with calls about it but haven't got a clue...they think it might be a Jockey Club promotion but just checked their site and nothing there Shame, a few of the old boys in the shop this morning were gonna book it...seems a right own goal from Baldy |

I'd be tempted too, if so. I can get to the course free but just none too keen on the rigmarole of the whole occasion eg journey, betting (paddock to bookie), wc, drinks aplenty, etc. I still might go this year unless the heavens open.

1st 49 customers who signed up then. Would the takers still be compos mentis come friday / saturday? Today is only monday. I'd go to New Zealand and back to Gatwick in that time. The joruney each way is about 24 hrs.
