A meeting I have long wanted to attend and am finally going this evening. Really looking forward to the racing which is very good quality. Especially looking forward to seeing Adaay Of Scarlett, Talk of New York, Ombudsman and Lazy Griff.
Oveernight stay at the Albert Arms so no rush home afterwards.

I'm going as well and really looking forward to it.
We plot up in the 1875 lounge, best view of the track from there.

Best of luck, to us both ....Grin

A good card, hope you both enjoy the evening.

Fancy a couple at decent prices, Further in the 6.12 and Nostrum in the last.

Sandown is the best track I've been to, viewing and access to facilities. It's a bit of a pig however for travel if not driving. Goodwood is on my bucket list.

I can remember going to this meeting in the late 80's and early 90's.
It used to be absolutely mobbed everywhere, 3 rows of books full in Tatts and the rails fully loaded as well.

There's a very small crowd tonight, empty terraces pretty much.
I just got a coke and got served immediately!

I preferred the old days I must say.
Some nice fillies for in their Summer outfits so not all bad news.
I had the second in the first race, I never gave the winner a second look...

Not many in the payout queue for Dubai Future.

Our man Track Suit Dave has joined us for a drink and a catch up, he's looking good.

Cracking evening spent in the Gallery (free bar) so we had a great time.
Beetting record was 2nd, 2nd, 3rd , Winner,Winner, Loser, Winner. All win singles, biggest bet fortunately was on Talk Of New York, so small profit (given the tickets cost me nothing courtesy of Rewards 4 Racing)
