i am semi retired, and have taken a 20 hours a week part time job at the golf course, its not work...lol, i just chat to golfers , take a few payments and watch racing tv etc on the tv we have.

ive shown them monthly income by way of pension pay slip and golf course payslip which shows income of nearly 3 grand a month.

ive not shown them my main bank account with my wedge, they wont be getting that, only shown them one of my other bank accounts.

thats all i ever do..dont bet often though...never had a problem.

i would be doing it, sometimes 3 to 4 times in quick succession...anyway, betfair have sent me an automated email saying i should be able to use my account, when ive always been able to use my account....lol

'aberdonia', I'd report the bookies to The Gambling Commission. It should be made illegal and unlawful for bookies to request personal and financial info post depositing and winning on a bet. Any due diligence should be done prior to bookies accepting deposits for a minimum period of 6 months.

I firmly believe a bookie who accepts a deposit the bookie concerned is entering into a contract with the punter. As such, there should be a minimum period of longevity of the contract,

But would they have the financial means to pay out if every game was a home win one Saturday?
