Andrew faces allegation over ‘incident with woman’ at Royal Ascot
https://www.thetimes.com/uk/royal-family/article/andrew-mountbatten-windsor-police-investigation-royal-ascot-d3n2qkfpj

The Guardian is reporting on the Sunday Times report but is free to read whereas the ST is paywalled.

Allegation refers to Royal Ascot 2002, the Queen's Golden Jubilee.

He sounds like a poor specimen of a person and I don't have any sympathy but looking at an "incident" over twenty years ago is beginning to look like a witch hunt.

Never saw the point of a top hat until I attended a posh wedding where every bloke was expected to wear one with suit and tails.

Not my cup of tea, to say the least, so was pleased when all the nuptial shenanigans were over and I could have a pint and a ****.

Obviously didn't stop at one pint and a ****.

Eventually, late evening, having been on the go since mid-afternoon, was happy to be able to whip off the old top hat - which I'd dutifully worn throughout, I hasten to add - and barf long and hard into it, thus saving the clean up bill for the stained carpet at the expensive post-wedding venue.

Mind you, the people I'd hired all the clobber from weren't too pleased when they got their topper back, looking like the inside had been bleached in multiple spots... . Plain

Have any of the allegations against Prince Andrew ever been proven in court?

Very good point.

No, is the simple answer.

But then you'd have to actually have him up in front of the beak and judged on the evidence by a jury, which as things currently stand seems unlikely to me.

Borrowing money from the Jelly and paying damages to the Septics strongly suggest that ex Prince Pervo is as guilty as sin

Any man who kicks off because the servants have arranged his teddy bears
incorrectly on his bed, is a warped nutter. He'll have been up to no good, 1.01.

Oh, that's interesting.

I see the forum plod have deleted one of my previous replies in spite of the fact there was nothing in it which was defamatory or libellous.

I only hope to god it's some AI algorithm responsible, and not some poor sob having to read each thread in every s*dding forum.
