Does anybody know how to navigate to the RPR feature for the Ayr card in the new Racing Post format or are they simply not bothering. It just says 'No data Available' whereas the Yarmouth card is OK.

call me simple - I don’t even know how to get the comments below each horse

horseracing.net still has the older version RP with everything on one one page

horseracing.net still has the older version RP with everything on one one page...The  Racing Post is now a TOTAL DOGS BREAKFAST,  m8 you are not alone they have totally destroyed the website, the bean counting suits they employed to change it have totally mangled  the site, previously it had a very clean layout even racing newbies could navigate...thats what its all about bringing in new people into horse racing...not  pricing them out  and presenting them with  websites that are hard to understand and navigate...The Racing Post did a lot for UK racing and actually made racing accessible to a huge potential betting public this is now isolating racing from the masses...they need to go back to the clean easy to navigate site FAST

OP -- Ayr looks OK to me. Are you sure you are not being fooled by the 2yo debutants in the first race?

xmoneyx -- go into any individual race, not the whole meeting racecard, then above the first runner there should be buttons for Spotlights, Form and Card Options.

Select them there, and they carry over to all racecards.

Ramruma The two class 4 handicaps on the Ayr card, 14.42 and 15.42 races, are showing 'No Data Available' for RPR ratings, Top Speed and Postdata features.

PAULBU on the 14:42 racecard itself, using the Procard or Compact option, I see: OR:73 TS:90 RPR:104 for Pearl Eye.

Are you talking about something different?
By:

Ramruma Yes I am. If you click on the 'stats' icon it brings up several stats panels. For the 14.42 and 15.42 it shows 'No Data Available' for RPR, TSpeed and Postdata. There is data showing for some of the other handicaps.

PAULBU OK then yes, I also have 'No Data Available' for RPR, TSpeed and Postdata.

Can only suggest you email the Post & report what looks like a bug. The address was given in one of the other threads iirc.

I am still trying to work out some of the other changes.

Ramruma I sent an e-mail to the Post this morning highlighting the problem. They have responded saying I will receive a reply within seven days. Thanks for your attention.

Apologies if already covered but trying to navigate the new site for the first time. Issue is that only "predictor" is available and "verdict" and "tips" is greyed out. The verdict I use quite regularly. Racing Post plus subscriper

i think they might be now behind a paywall if you are not a subscriber,,,,they are turning the Racing Post into an elite pay site...not good foe encouraging newbies into the game...thats why US racing never really took off the cost of form and data keeps most  locked out and not interested

when RPR tables are intermittently missing for paid subscribers and RP won't acknowledge or reply to emails, it tricky to know what to do next ?

I've had no response to my email yet.

If anyone has a Twitter/X account could they kindly send a link to this forum thread to Tom Kerr, the editor of the RP.  Maybe he has no idea how badly this website redesign has gone down?

Interesting - 2 machines, 2 different browsers, one has rpr ratings for a race, one doesn't, enter pressed 1 second apart.   The one not displaying was earlier.    Results don't seem to consistently hold up, otherwise I'd just go with which browser & pc combination works.

millionairintraining's results might imply that racingpost.com is not properly syncing across its AWS (Amazon) servers and/or caches.

In other words, the inconsistent results (sometimes it works, sometimes not) depends on which instance you hit at RP's end, rather than your own machine or browser.

Basically there are lots of moving parts.

@ramruma - I think you're correct, but plus some rpr tables are just blatantly missing no matter what method you use

some tables are there one minute, no data the next - enough to make you think you have lost your mind

Ramaruna.......the best working part was the at a glance single scrolling webpage......tabs are ridiculous in most instances unless you need to delve microscopically ...thats fine...but tabs for even basic data that was on a complete scrolling webpage before is utterly ridiculous....they need to revert this site now and admit they got it wrong

It's unusable right now and I have not been able to properly research a bet since Monday.  Infuriating.

Three days in and still the majority of RPR, TS and PostData tables are not included in the Stats tab. Are they all fast asleep over there?? - at least TELL US WHAT THE Fk IS GOING ON!!!

I'm seeing less gaps in stats tab this afternoon than this morning.   Maybe after a 2 day outage they are working on it now ?   fingers crossed

but I think maybe everyone is seeing different dynamic rendering based on their setup also?

Could just be luck but I just had a RPR table magically appear after (no Data Available) by doing a Ctrl-Shift-R to force a hard refresh.    Maybe it is the page can't display quick enough so defaults to "No Data Available", as I'm getting less of the "No Data Available" messages when accessing from a fast hosted VPS.    Also tried with a freshly installed browser with no extensions or add-ons and not a golden bullet either.   I guess we just wait ...

The indisputable fact remains the the Site worked perfectly before this "Downgrade".
Bookmaker Tabs are top of every page and I am not going to continue to pay for it

Ctrl-Shift-R - forcing a hard refresh seems to be repeatable for me to go from "No Available Data" to a table
By:
millionaireintraining
When: 21 May 26 20:26
just had a race where consecutive Ctrl-Shift-R did not help but logging out the Racing Post, back in, then Ctrl-Shift-R did.   Only took me all day to find that ;-)     The table data is there, they just want to make you work for it ;-)

I was deluded.   It is worse than ever today.   Tables under the stats table appearing / disappearing with no rhyme nor reason.   Tried from a variety of machines and browsers.   I guess we just wait.  Cry

OK I think there may have been some kind of fix applied.  I am now seeing all RPRs TSs Postmarks and Past Race Winners.  Tried multiple races and they are showing.

However the RPRs/TSs are still not in descending order
By:

I'm also seeing them in the last hour or so. Onwards and upwards?

The Racing Post in its current mangled guise will almost cause as much harm to UK racing as affordability checks.I think its underestimated that the Racing Post has been for decades a friendly accessible gateway to introduce newbies to UK racing....now it seems intent to put itself behind a paywall and turn itself into a niche closed in club....thats the wrong direction, surely even its advertising bookies need as many site hits as possible, its a false economy...Keeping the Racing Post accessible and open globally to all garners massive support for UK racing...after years of slow evolution the Racing Post had turned into a slick perfect interface where you could assimilate data rapidly.they have now allowed bean counting suits to totally ruin the site and it should not be underestimated...this is to the detriment of British racing...they should swallow their pride and return the site the way it was....or it will just decline into a mediocre site no one visits in large numbers. The people who came up with this site should be sacked en masse.

random order not much of an issue, at least they are back - let's hope the values in the tables are accurate
By:
millionaireintraining
When: 22 May 26 11:20
reduced stakes me thinks !    Some values I captured earlier (when a table was visible) are different for some columns (eg best rpr on Going) than they were earlier.   As they relate to old races and there's been no UK racing this morning, these should have been no reason for values to change - proceed with caution.
