Yes, good point - even more reason they don't have a proper side or performance here.
Only caveat is that Palace have their final more rapidly after this match though....3 days vs 7 days.
Tricky to assess match, must admit.
Have Arsenal not got a European Final as well ?Yes, good point - even more reason they don't have a proper side or performance here.Only caveat is that Palace have their final more rapidly after this match though....3 days vs 7 days.Tricky to assess
Surely the circumstances favour Arsenal? Both teams will probably make several changes, but many of the Arsenal peripheral players probably walk into Palace's first team.
Plus they are likely to have a swagger in their step and not play nervy football. There will be a big away support as well, and I imagine the players will want to treat them to some Champions quality football as a thank you and not a friendly kickabout on the beach.
Steve Parish said in 2016 that the PL trophy will be lifted at Selhurst Park within a decade - and he has delivered!
Interesting to see crowd reaction to Eze getting the traditional guard of honour as well.

Eze will be cheered on by the Palace faithful, that's a given.
I'll be @ S.P. on Sunday. Just a shame Arsenal didn't need a point though to make it more interesting but it'll be an enjoyable afternoon in the sunshine I'm sure regardless.

Baking hot day, both teams mindful of injuries. Any intensity is likely to be at the beginning, with the second half probably fizzling out.
Half time/full time Arsenal/Arsenal at 2/1 is quite attractive.

stu - I don't think there will be many studs up 50/50 challenges flying in.
I'm not familiar with CP's peripheral players, but suspect Arsenal's are a bit better.
Peripheral players from both teams will be trying to impress to make it into the squad for their respective final, so don't think it will be beach football

Arsenal fans glued to the Spuds game hoping they get buggered, while the hammers beat Leeds. London met hoping the Hammers don't get binned into the chumpionship where they will face millwall next season.

Anyone else think that the Europa Conference Final is more even than the odds suggest? Odds on Palace and 3/1 Rayo Vallecano.
RV are unbeaten in 8. They won the semi-final 2-0 on aggregate, but the highlights show they created loads of chances and only poor finishing/good goalkeeping prevented a much bigger score line. The commentator referred to them as being 'experts' at corners.
Earlier in the year they beat Athletico 3-0 and only lost 0-1 at Barca and 1-2 at Real Madrid, so a decent level of league form.
Palace aren't world beaters either are they? 3/1 seems a decent price about RV in 90 minutes

Premier League is a joke, I only watch the highlights on utube and that’s enough,Arsenal spent 250 million pounds on players this last season besides all their regular squad, the only thing the club did right was give their coach a 5 year spell to win the league, similiar to Man U gave Alex Ferguson to win the league.

Correct Leif, the horses came by train to Norbury station and then a short walk to the racecourse at Pollards Hill, to this day there are still no steps when you alight at Norbury, just a ramp which was designed for the horses
