My contact got a roasing that's for sure I apologize for anyone who lost money.
But today I cannot believe the price of this Selection 4.12 Thirsk. I had it priced @ 13-2 at best.
The draws great, grounds great, pace of the race great. 16-1 am I missing something. Anyway had 300 e/w. But also going to back 1st 3 at 11-2 and first 4 at 7-2.
I can see them going off hell for leather here as a good few who like to force the pace. He will love that and will be flying late on. Obviously Nolan needs to judge it well as Thirsk can be tricky but I feel it's worth taking that chance especially at 16-1. 7-2 first 4 is a gift.

I would of took 500 back at 1.2 but I don't always trade them.
Like you guys say most markets are dead these days it's not 2004. I backed one once at Sandown over the hurdles, one of Henderson's. It was clear over the last and tried to run out so I sometimes put in a lay at 1.05 for part of my stake,all price dependant. Listen been punting 40 years. 32 years was total degen and disaster.made a profit from 2022-2025. But was down this year but after a good few weeks I'm slightly up this year. These months are the time I feel is the best time for punters May until August. Mostly because watering apart the grounds the best and consistant. |

Also my claim to fame was in the early days I was one of the first if not the first to turn £50 into 50k. I even had an account manager, a south African guy called Andrew Ridell. Betfair treated me well and I got loads of free VIP tickets etc. but that dried up.
Back then I was on good money as a project manager.im now retired so need to be more selective. |

I know mate. It's the hardest game in the world and ruthless.
But if you put the effort in you can make small gains. I did try laying for a while. Mostly outsiders, nicking 50s here and there. But once you get caught with one it wipes out all the profit. I layed the group one winner at Goodwood last year, think I laid 144 for 60 quid. That stung. |

Just want to thank you as I have been following your tips for many years. What's your final classic tips this year please as I'm lost. I'm over 60k behind already this year so a lot to claw back. Cheltenham was a nightmare. This is what you said on the ante post forum. Must have been some run you've been on. BTW if you can't get on I will lay your bets. |

Just because you don't wager like some it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. A 60k swing could just be a good 6-8 week period. Why would I come on here and bullshit, what would I gain. I had a long enforced break from the forum. And I'm talking 16 years. I won 16k last Saturday that's one day. Figures at the end of the day are personal but sometimes it puts things into context. Like I have also stated I don't bet on here as limited to 500 a month deposit. My bets are overseas using a white label which I find good enough.Unless I goto the track and then I bet mostly in cash. |

Aging tell them what that went to (you mentioned another figure in another post) as someone else will find it and it’ll save you the agro of trying to explain later.
