Many of the top jockeys are deserting York today as there are plenty of good alternatives. Oisin Murphy has several favourites at Newmarket, Ryan Moore is in ireland, plenty of top 20 riders at Newbury. Has the third day at York become one too many? The Yorkshire Cup Group 2 is only backed up by the Listed Marygate for 2yo fillies and a few decent handicaps.
