After Rayevka ran in Dubai, Graffard decided to target her strictly at 5f races.
Don’t be fooled by her 3rd in the Commonwealth Cup at Ascot last year over 6f.

I’m shocked that smug Martin in the studio on ATR was making the draw as an excuse out there!
Also the Laurent didn’t mention this, maybe he didn’t want to clue him up!

They are hoping that Rayif stays the mile according to Nemone and he’s second fav, sounds like Daryzan was their hope for the Guineas today but they couldn’t get him out in time.

KHOVIKHOV Rayif GOOD BYE MANU Elastic NIGHTTIME
Why is it of significance? Because the rest are seen as Jockey Club candidates and the French 2000 is a good trial for that.
Mijas isn’t entered for either so the Spanish trainer who has a good group of horses this year sees him as an out and out miler.
Dorset is entered for the Grand Prix De Paris over 1m 4F - - - - - -
Which I way I highlighted future entries on the thread, because it showed a potential doubt as to today’s trip.
Good luck all

top french racing and plenty of runners in both gns makes em even more interesting , luck in running or lack of of it often plays a part and that should be taken into consideration good luck all.

Another thing is the line goes that Rayif missed the trial because he was sick, but was it a case of giving him the one crack over the trip in the Guineas today? (He has a good draw to help him in his favour.)
Like they planned to give Samanagan a go in our Guineas, with the Commonwealth there to fall back on.
Rayif has won on the straight course over 6F where the Jean Pratt is held.

I'm expecting Clifford to take Hankelow to the front and try to run the finish out of them. He'll go a lot further in time. Soft ground was a ?, but Burke says the reason hes gone there with him was to get the ground, so no worries there, plus it should make it more of a test. Decent EW bet imo. Good luck all.

puerto rico very short ,may still win but no value imo ,plenty with chances in what should be a very strongly run race ,rayif ,nightime ,hankelow have decent form but i like a couple at bigger prices and fabres segall won a group3 at this track last time over 9f suggesting he wants further than the mile today that may be true but if they go hammer and tongs his proven stamina could see him running on when others have had enough, looks to be progressing and a big price 50/1 firms hopefully bigger on here grandin keeps the ride , selection segall 50/1 ew 4 places should be bigger on here .also stablemate and 1st string komorabi is progrssing well and stuck on gamely to beat nightime on season debut 3 wins from 5 looked to have a bit more up his sleeve that day and 16ish on here or bigger appeals ew .good luck all think we might need it .

Some trainer this Graffard...rather brusque and curt in manner...but knows how to handle a thoroughbred. And with the best French rider in the saddle, a lethal combination to boot.

They were praising the jock on Segall for staying on but he was at fault moving up as he did, terrible bit of riding, coulda also brought down his stable mate.
Bet Buick wants to move to France!

That was a bit of a family affair, the 3.40 at Leopardstown. Do no other Irish trainers have any decent middle distance flat horses? Been impressed by Dylan Browne McMonagle in recent days...
