I know he’s not very big, I know he’s only won at Group 2 level but I keep coming back to BOW ECHO; unbeaten, has a turn of foot, won over course and distance, GSTAAD looks solid but has he got improvement in him? KINGS TRAIL is the classic “could be anything” but Buick has deserted him.
I fancied DIAMOND NECKLACE for the 1,000 Guineas but it looks as if she won’t run, if the ground gets no softer than good then VENETIAN SUN is the one for me.
PIERRE BONNARD fluffed his lines first time out this season, but he was mighty impressive last year and I’m taking him to bounce back, he’s in the right yard to do that! They go 6/1 the field in The Derby right now.
AMELIA EARHART she’s by Camelot, she impressed on her final outing, a mile and a half could see her improve loads.
As an aside I think today’s cards are tough, so I like ELUSIVE BUTTERFLY and ASCENDING at each way prices.
