Bamapour ran 70 times and has died at the age of 36 - either figure would be incredible for any horse, but to have one horse reach both shows how tough he was.

Bred by the Aga Khan, he gave Martin Pipe a record 2,645 winners when he won at Newton Abbot in 1999
