Three so called male models before the Judge at The Old Baily today accused of trying to set fire to the PM's private properties.

Why ever would they do that?

Not much going for him at the moment.

About to be accused of misleading Parliament, wipe out coming in May elections and now this.

Hope they do not restrict reporting on the case. After being banged up for 9 months they will be keen to spit the beans out as to why the did it.

Could be better than the Mandelson scandal.

Contempt of Court Laws blocking revelations about this it is claimed lief.

Has to be of National Security interest yet not a murmur from the established press or opposition MP's.

Stinks of stitch up.

THE LOUDEST SILENCE IN BRITAIN
Three men are in the dock at the Old Bailey. The trial opened this morning. Most of Britain’s press cannot find the space to tell you.

The jury has been told not to consider who "El Money"Laugh is and why he coordinated the arson attacks.

Jurors have also been told by the prosecution that they do not have to decide what motivated the defendants, only if they conspired to commit arson.

The men deny the charges.

If there's nothing to hide, there's nothing to fear.
Not as if this thing doesn't occur on a regular basis in any case.
A dodgy Russian called 'El Money' pays three Ukranian rent boys to burn the back doors of a PM, and damage vehicles associated with the afore-mentioned PM.
The motive is just taking money from El Money, to damage the back doors of someone they don't know.

Why would the cps tell jurors that they don't need to consider motivation. Quite obviously, motivation is central to crime.

Thought you would know better Cider.

Don't have to to decide motivation and Don't need to consider motivation are not the same thing.

Another establishment stitch up incoming.

If it is it'll give you something else to moan about.

Clearly, and if reported accurately it's intended to let the jury know that the prosecution won't be bringing up motivation. Why they conspired to commit arson (if that's found to be the case) is palpably critical to the case (any case of arson). Hate crime, fun, being paid, reprisal, intimidation, could be any number of things that would directly impact the case. I'm a gambling man and I would bet why they did it (if found guilty) will never be reported. Let's see.

So when you wrote Why would the cps tell jurors that they don't need to consider motivation
you were right even though they said no such thing.

You'd have been right if they had said that and you're now right when they didn't.

You must lead you sad pathetic life.

Yet you are the person worrying about what I post, and taking the time to respond. I'd call that pathetic. I don't see you post much at all, is there a motivation for stalking?

Those two phrases carry the same implication to a jury as far as I am concerned. I doubt they are all tedious pedants like JML from betfair. I couldn't give a shiny shiite if you agree or not.

why they did it is has already been widely reported----they were paid to do it.

avrynovych, Carpiuc, and Pochynok have not expressed political motivation in conspiring to set the fires, but they were offered payment by “El Money” on the Telegram messaging app, their trial heard.

Lavrynovych was told what to do and where to target by the anonymous Telegram user, the court was told.

A Russian speaking man pays 3 male models to carry out attacks on properties/ vehicles previously owned, or currently owned by KS.
Is that how masterminds normally carry out attacks on foreign soil.
Would they not stake out the gaffs to ensure they were getting at property/cars currentlly owned by KS, and why would it be such an amateurish job?
nonsense.

Hard to say. Sometimes the message is the most important thing. Look at the Salisbury poisonings for instance. A stupidly inefficient method (both the targets survived but later an uninvolved woman died after stumbling across the discarded poison) but guaranteed to hit the headlines.

"El Money"-- Russian Villain. Are they having a laugh?

They have had 9 months to think this one out. If they get off with a wrist slapping it will be better than pantomime.

They've had the best part of a year on remand in Belmarsh.
All for a few quid.
If money was their motive, it sure doesn't match the time.

If Russia was involved would  the charges not  be of Terrorism?

Regardless if it was an attempt to discredit the PM.  (place man).

Salisbury has nowt to do with this as that was Russia trying to dispose of a double agent, well he was prob made a triple agent and went quadruple, a double double, the sums of money he was  paid by UK were pretty small (100k).
Seems a paltry amount and Russia jailed him, they could have killed him, although maybe he had taken out insurance.

If this was Russian, it would not be in open court and the accused would not be on normal remand.

So what's really going on?

Did accused know who they were targeting?

Did they carry out some research on houses and cars targeted?

yes, months but still managed to target a car that no longer belonged to KS.

Still no sign of "El Money'.

Scotland Yard, Interpol, CIA all scratching their heads.

And by the way, this case has nothing to do with The Prime Minister.
