This calendar year, on the Flat, Tom Queally has ridden 19 times for Gary & Josh Moore (if only they had another top jockey in their phone contacts) as well as 3 times for Peter Crate and once for Murty McGrath.

Jumpswise, 4 rides for the Moore barn and once for Andi Brown.

He even rode a winner, Hove Ranger, in a class 6 all-weather race with prize money of a book token.

The paradox is that a better riding groom might not have been run away with by Frankel so winning distances would have been less, and he might have been stepped up in trip.

So maybe Frankel does owe his status and reputation to Queally.

Queally will only be remembered for Frankel.
At that time he was a reasonably competent journeyman, but I think weight problems may have played a part in his decline.
