nice big field near 7f  listed sprint  fav is lightly raced  2 from4  won on seasonal debut top trainer and jockey should improve may well win but short enough imo. sonatine  won easily on seasonal debut could be smart but that was a maiden and this looks tougher , plenty with chances and at the prices royal chapel was progressive last season 5th  on debut and won her next 2 starts including a listed at a mile on her final start . led over a furlong out and stuck to her task well ,won with a bit in hand imo.
i like a few pops in this type of race at decent prices and recontra sportive was also on the up last season and ran an excellent 3rd on seasonal debut behind amn improver in mycalex cen with showna  more than 5 lengths behind that one has since won the prix imprudence a group 3gns trial so form looks useful whatever 16/1 looks fair  imo.
selections royal chapel 20/1  ew/ freds  win place on here  and recontra sportife 16/1 b365 ew  good luck opinions  encouraged.

All us backers want to know your stakes so advice on those would be helpful too with your selections

....surely his steaks are nobodies business but his own

he puts up reasoned bets and quite a few win at decent prices or place a lot of time
not sure what you're beef is but its not the first time you have badgered him
pre or post race

idont wait for blue on oddschecker before i put anything up loads of mine are drifters . ,quite the opposit in fact nearer the race  often a horse that would have initially been too short can drift to a backable price

my steaks differ i used to get staking wrong too much on losers not enough on winners, but now i make sure i   have at least  my   minimum stake on selections that way i wont be thinking i didnt have enough on . i have already put up on the field of gold thread an opinion  on  the b365  mile race tommorow .will do a more detailed thread tommorow .good luckall.

NE I’m sure as he has done so tht Foy can answer fie himself, there is no beef, that’s an American term that I dislike by the way.
I’ve never badgered him merely made the point that he posted so late that no one could get on. Is that not fair? I do believe that he saw my point there.

For me it’s not just about pre race selections but what comes after, yesterday’s race was one where many winners will come from.
So I’ve asked for opinions after on the selections, it’s called discussion.

The filly that he selected that was unplaced and for me it barely gets the 7f despite having won over the distance. Why? It was drawn wide and used up too much gas early, was well positioned and had every chance to win.

The Clement filly looks like it’ll get a mile, the fav that won will be over be next time and as said I thought was lucky.

The stakes is a genuine question not out of being nosey but one of interest. Why? Because it’s not easy to make it pay when backing more than one win and place.

Cheers Foy and better luck next time, you’ll remember when I first come on here that I said that we often pick the same horses at odds, so again the stake question was because of that.

I don’t expect you to say on an open forum for the rest to see because there’s always the option of private messaging.

Kozlovskha Was beaten 8 1/2 in the Imprudence so form was franked in a sense

The Debel was also franked in a sense by the run of Romanticon who was beaten 5L there that day and given a terrible ride by the worst jock riding in France.

So i’d of thought you were topping up on Samangan having seen that.

Remember I’ve said that a quicker horse than what he’s faced will do for Bow Echo!
