Race 2 - The Glidevale Protect Handicap Chase (Class 5) Ben Jones, the rider of BRIDGET MARY (IRE), placed second, was found to have used his whip twice above the permitted level of seven from jumping the fourth last fence. He will be suspended for 7 days from Tuesday 14 to Monday 20 April 2026, inclusive. |

Rarely goes to ride at Perth and had a ride in the 4.38 at Ffos Las yesterday, no idea if he went home but it's between 7 1/2 and 8 1/2 hours to Perth to ride in 2 races. Unraced horse for Elliott and a chaser for Pauling. Hope someone drops him off in a helicopter or he'll be kn@ckered.

He'll wish he hadn't bothered, riding a no hoper out the back for Elliott and a crashing fall when weakening on the chaser, got to get back for Warwick tomorrow now.
