Just been having a look back at the Craven meeting, and I'm not saying this is a sure-fire winner next time or anything, but one I think it's fair to say was given a 'sympathetic' ride was Galiyan.
I remember thinking the same last year about Respond at Newbury, and then he turned up in a £20K to the winner maiden at Sandown, where he would have gone closer with a clearer run.
However, that race isn't until June if it's being run again this season and don't know if this one would qualify under the conditions.
Galiyan's only entry is in the Dante, which is looking pie in the sky based on the bare form of Thursday's race, but he wasn't knocked about there and it will be interesting to see where he turns up next.
