I’ll wait to see what they say now, going into it this was the line they took.

Barry Mahon, manager of Juddmonte, commented about the filly who finished unbeaten in two runs: "She did very well after her last race and looks very good, notes the Irish professional. We love her very much, are very eager to see her again and hope that she will continue on her upward trajectory. To date, we are not yet certain of its objective (at group I level). She comes from a mother (Grand Jeté) who is by Dansili and this could possibly suggest that the 2,400 meters would be a bit long at this stage of her career. As a result, it is quite possible that we will focus more on the Prix de Diane (over 2,100 m, rather than the Oaks)”.

She’s in the right hands has a lovely big stride, I read somewhere that Graffard wasn’t working back from the Arc with Daryz, his target being the POW at Ascot so will he even show?

Hopefully get to her more from connections about targets, I thought watching that once that the Diane would be ideal with another half furlong.

The Cleopatra doesn’t have a great record going forwards but far too early to write her off 4 sure.

In the equestrian press, there is a horse chestnut every year about the Prix Cléopâtre (Gr.III). Because it has been 50 years, and the great Pawnee, since this preparatory event for the Prix de Diane no longer provided a winner of the big race. As a convincing winner of the 2026 edition, Gilded Prize will have this little weight on its shoulders if it takes part in the classic in two months.

After her first race Graffard admitted that her turn of foot had surprised him, she meant to be lazy at home so could be a live one.
If only we knew who she was working with!

“I imagine that people who follow the races have noticed that my horses are in semi-fitness right now. So, we always go to the races with a little apprehension,”

“She is a very good filly, she replied present today. Given her physique and her attitude, I always thought she had the right profile to run the Oaks at Epsom. But there is speed in her pedigree and she has a good change of speed. She is my filly for the Prix de Diane. I don’t know where we’ll go yet, let’s see how she gets in at first. She was blowing a lot, I think she needs to run because she does the minimum in the morning.

I remember Minnie Hauk blowing for ages after at Chester.

You’ll like this update from the trainer :

On Sunday, Francis Graffard’s filly will again be the favourite in the Prix Saint-Alary, preparatory to the Prix de Diane where the French trainer is the title holder. She will find a track certainly more flexible than during her previous attempt on the turf and it will be interesting to observe her behavior in these new conditions. Her mentor considers her able to hold "without problem, 2,400 meters", so his outfit should easily compensate for the (moderate) easing of the ground.

Pretty disappointing her performance today.

It was, you’d think that she has to be better than what she showed finishing behind Rouget Habibi but two unbeaten fillies finished first and second.

Composing ran no race either.
