Why the obsession with off times?
Horses and humans make mistakes when hurried needlessly.
Should be a built in mechanism to meetings to allow them to get back on track without rushing a race.
Of course it's all about munee, keep the bean counters happy, revenue but how much does every fatality cost the sport?
As an aside, why can't UK racing have every horse come out onto track in order and have a pre race parade?
Brewery and pi$$ up innit.
