Richard Dunwoody MBE
Desert Island Discs Revisited

Jockey Richard Dunwoody is castaway by Sue Lawley.

"I've fallen off more than 600 times".

Richard has been champion jockey three times and won the Grand National twice in 1984 and 1986.

I take it that Dunwoody doesn't actually like music with that selection. Awful.

I listened to it this morning. Admitted slight mental health issues. Also discussed the altercation with Adrian Maguire. Was an interesting programme.

Richard Dunwoody loved the west of Ireland and may be why his number one choice was Clare Island off the Mayo coast.
