not sure of the stats since fences were made easier stew.

No fallers last year, but usually at least 1 at the first, 5 in Corach Ramblers year, who fell himself at first the year after, most unseated or fell.

The field usually going far to quickly to the first due to the noise and excitement, usually causes the fallers.

The distance from the start to the first fence in the national has been reduced recently.

They still go too quick though.

The year that Red Marauder won I laid a friend £20 at 10/1 no fallers at the First fence.I thought I was buying money -he reckoned the true odds were about 7/2.There were 2 fallers.

ive had a nifty 6/4 for an interest..
