NOW: Ohio Republican lawmakers are introducing two different bills to overhaul the sports gaming/gambling system:
- No online bets
- Ban on in-game, prop and parlay bets
- Limits wagers to $100
- No ads during games
- No using credit cards to bet
As of 2025, the population of Ohio is estimated to be approximately 11.9 million people. It is the 7th most populous U.S. state and has experienced a slight population increase of about 0.9% since the 2020 Census. The state's capital and largest city is Columbus
