Cheers Penzance, winner of that race looked good, trainer is priced to win every race nearly he had a couple of shockers Azimpour last, (put a squiggle next that one)
But then Baza was terrible on Tajina |

By:
Then Leffard ran above my expectations but isn’t entered for the Ganay

Nice bookmaker result.
Strange effort from Take Me On, who was weak close to the off. Guyon tried to restrain him, and had already packed up well over a furlong out, but the horse seemingly crossed the line full of beans. Maybe he doesn't want restraining? |

I’ve not seen the races so can’t comment but nice one Foyles I found that one too! Trainer with jock onboard to
Wirh race freshness was ok for me admittedly E/W Race fitness here having seen the results looked to be important. I’m not so sure that Imprudance was that much of a shock, the filly had fitness on her side and took in the trial for this. Was ran against the colts! I missed that one for sure! But for relevance the colt who was 4th in the Debel was just behind her in the same trial and Kalini has come out of it and ran well since when 4th to kimi rey I think it was for Folyles that day. |

So these races elude Graffard again, not the best record has he in them?
Diff I’d seen Maddy P put that horse up for our classic and I couldn’t have it for our Guineas. Checked was 33/1 for HQ and before Makfi won this race he was 100/1 66/1 for there. It’s so trucking rare for a horse to turn up and win a guineas on its 3 rd start! Mad AP odds! Take me On won on the round track last time, first time up on a straight track on its second start, yes I’m after but those were the facts. Delzangles ran Makfi at Fontenblue which has the longest home-straight, after the Debel where he won going away they said he was built for the Newmarket Mile. It’s like hurdles or jumps, straight and round tracks, think Shocklands! |

Interesting hey

However, Fabre said: "I was quite happy with the race and she was beaten by a much fitter filly.
"He was really ready for today and he looked like he handled the straight track well," said Arnaud Leraitre of Al Shaqab's Haras de Bouquetot. "Several of these were making their comeback and it would have been difficult to get cover but he relaxed well in front." "We'll see what Rayif does in the Fontainebleau at the weekend, because he's also run very well on the straight course here, and then see what we're doing with them." |
