BHA seem very harse here. A genuine computer error has cost Ballydoyle £60k, when they are the biggest flat training outfit. Seems a genuine FAT FINGERS moment, which they reported to the BHA immediately. Seems to me yet another case of old farts occupying the BHA imho.

They should accept the error and reinstate for free.

AOB said they had the Dante and not the 2,000g when withdrawing them, hardly computer error is it

A cup of tea to supplement for Coolmore

Listen, the fault is with O'Brien - and he will know it - not the BHA. It's about the only time that O'Brien hasn't name checked everyone.

Mr O'Brien was prbably being very gallant to his staff whith this.

I doubt whether a computer 'went beserk' and flashed up the Dante Stakes instead of the Guineas!!

Me thinks that someone was rushing and hit the wrong button in error.

Too many mistakes made evrywhere today but they all don't cost two lots of £30k supplimentary entry fees!!!

When a computer glitch happens to any of us when placing a bet, the bookie concerned would say "tough tittie", on your bike.
Report Delashay April 2, 2026 3:35 PM BST
All this talk of 60 grand and bleeding hearts for this lot makes me laugh! Laugh

IF Albert was that far above the others he’d only need to pay the one supp fee! wow all 3 are capable of winning this! Laugh

Oh and he’d of saved more money by taking out PRico!

Money is nothing to this bunch of ….

Scratchings are notified immediately to betting markets now. If the BHA let him get away with this one, what's to stop someone from scratching a fancied runner in the future and taking advantage of the 1000.0 on here for a cheeky fifty quid before it's reinstated because it was a computer error, guv?

"Money is nothing to this bunch of..."

One of the Coolmore boys was judicially laughed-at in court recently when he took the parents of a disabled kid to court over the sale of a country house or estate. And, envelopes containing many 50 euro notes were used as "persuaders" to smooth the transaction. Sadly, this was all deemed to be unethical, disingenuous and downright improbable by the judge.
Report duffy April 2, 2026 3:58 PM BST
Wasn't Coolmore's argument based on a "verbal handshake", was it a bit like the "verbal handshake" they themselves laughed at when dealing with Ferguson over Rock Of Gibraltar. Grin

screaming, if he was scratched from here , then he would not be priced in the market.
Report screaming from beneaththewaves April 2, 2026 4:08 PM BST
He would be, ambush, because he could be supplemented back in.
Report impossible123 April 2, 2026 4:13 PM BST
"verbal handshake" is opened to interpretation when "that" Coolmore boy is concerned. People who live by the sword will die by the sword too.

Are we sure either will be supp’d for this after all?
Report Ramruma April 14, 2026 11:56 AM BST
Re verbal handshakes -- this is going back a couple of decades but I once spoke to someone on the admin side for one of "the lads" and he said basically that all of them owned fractions of all the horses regardless of which colours they ran in but trying to nail down who owned precisely how much of whom was nigh-on impossible.
Report Delashay April 17, 2026 9:18 AM BST
I always wondered about the changes that you see, says in ownership from then it’s updated.

Anyone laying Albert Einstein (AE) tomorrow? I'll risk a double whammy ie lay AE and back Zavateri in the Greenham at Newbury tomorrow.
Report Delashay April 18, 2026 3:32 PM BST
Going into the Greenham today still mainting that line that was said after the “mistake”.

"We're happy with him and it was kind of a late decision to run," said O'Brien. "We've just been very happy with him since the Curragh. He's been doing everything right. We thought it would be a nice race for him before the Guineas, if we're going to supplement him.“

Can get 25/1 if you think that’ll happen.

It looks like he’s used his , “Best 2 year old” , “fastest ever” today to get a line on others for his runner who’s not yet seen a track this year.
Report Delashay April 18, 2026 3:40 PM BST
Brought him fit so he can get a good gauge to them, sacrificed this early in the season whilst prepping for a different race if you take his other comments as him being real?

Tht was never computer error just another line of bs from their conveyor belt of crapp
