Report duffy March 31, 2026 3:32 PM BST
It's probably about right if you believe the first run.

It's probably harsh if you believe the second run.
Report charbar67 March 31, 2026 3:34 PM BST
If it does run in the John Porter on the 18th April, it will probably come up against some horses rated 110+, then you’ll find out
Report Jimbo71 March 31, 2026 3:38 PM BST
What if we have a dry couple of weeks? Will he or won't he. Been here before
Report wondersobright March 31, 2026 3:46 PM BST
could hardly have been given any more
Report strontium March 31, 2026 3:49 PM BST
No, but could have been given a bit less. Charbar makes an excellent point.

Forecast for the next couple of weeks has a fair amount of rain in it.

Depends on whether you think that the rating of Nuit is correct, rated 93 having been beaten by Square Necker getting 5lb, CH then getting the same 5lb stuffed Square Necker with ease, Gambino further back in that race rated 83 giving CH 7lb, 101 seems a bit high given all the doubts?
Report Cider March 31, 2026 3:57 PM BST
It's pretty odd that people are reacting as if they wanted a low mark.
Report Cider March 31, 2026 4:00 PM BST
Time is not on really the side of the 9yo :)
Report wondersobright March 31, 2026 4:00 PM BST
nuit rating doesn't come from dundalk
Report Tiger Tiger March 31, 2026 4:02 PM BST
I didnt say it did.
Report wondersobright March 31, 2026 4:03 PM BST
you've inferred it has by stemming

Report wondersobright March 31, 2026 4:05 PM BST
rated 93 having been beaten by Square Necker getting 5lb

this is the dundalk form...yes?
Report Tiger Tiger March 31, 2026 4:07 PM BST
'Depends on whether you think that the rating of Nuit is correct,'
Report wondersobright March 31, 2026 4:13 PM BST
in this case it isn't relevant
because 3rd, 4th & 5th from dundalk all drag the run down to below what nuit has previously achieved
Report duffy March 31, 2026 4:13 PM BST
As charbar says, he's going to probably be running against proper 110 horses which he may or  may not be himself, but also the horses he faces are probably going to be strong stayers at the trip which he has a slight question with, this really will be the acid test.
Report wondersobright March 31, 2026 4:15 PM BST
you can't make a valid assessment of CH's mark using SN as a marker horse & stemming from there
Report wondersobright March 31, 2026 4:15 PM BST
but fair enough if you are just posing the question TT
Report duffy March 31, 2026 4:18 PM BST
Doesn't even matter what mark he has got, the JP will sort that question out far more accurately than what we've had so far, it's all guesswork up until now, racing against established horses with reliable marks will reveal what he is.
Report impossible123 March 31, 2026 4:26 PM BST
Is 101 a realistic and justified rating?
Report wondersobright March 31, 2026 4:33 PM BST
slightly high imo but yes justifiable
Report wondersobright March 31, 2026 4:33 PM BST
any other horse there be no air time given to a 1-2lb wrong here or there
Report Rico-Dangleflaps March 31, 2026 4:36 PM BST
casual allusion who it beat last time out is a solid 85+ yardstick.

We're back for a new season of the long running soap opera that has proven such a hit in recent years, all the usual ingredients have been promised by the show creators, with the will he won't he storyline sure to once again have viewers gripped to their tv screens, an early teaser has been released so eager fans can get a taste of what's to come ExcitedExcited

Constitution Hill features among the 19 entries for a Listed race at Windsor on Saturday.

Trained by Nicky Henderson for owner Michael Buckley, Constitution Hill made a deep impression in two all-weather novice races following a high-profile switch from hurdling to the Flat earlier this year.

After storming to a nine and a half-length victory under Oisin Murphy at Southwell on February 20, he was partnered by Ryan Moore when following up under a penalty as the 1/7 favourite at Kempton a month later, since then he's been on the sidelines with connections not wishing run run on quick turf.
Photos galore as Constitution Hill returns to a tremendous reception

This Saturday's Weatherbys August Stakes over a distance of 1m 3f 99y had been earmarked as a potential starting point for Constitution Hill ahead of an autumn campaign and there is no shortage of possible opposition following Monday's first confirmation stage.

Henderson said: "We’ve always said we’d like to go to Windsor, but this dry spell, as everybody knows, just keeps going on and on.

“I’ve been speaking to Charlie Rees [Clerk of the Course at Windsor] and we’re keeping a close eye on the forecast. There is some rain around, but it’s going to be sporadic and it needs to come fairly soon. Otherwise, we’re going to start getting worried.

“He’s a big, heavy horse. We need the ground to be on the easy side of good, and it simply isn’t that at the moment.

“We want to make a decision as early as possible, for everybody’s sake. There’s no point getting into a situation where we’re umming and ahhing on Friday and then taking him out on Saturday morning.

“We appreciate that he’s very popular and that people will want to go and see him. The last thing we want to do is take him out at the last minute because the rain hasn’t materialised."

The nine-year-old's rivals could include Group 1 winner White Birch who would be making his debut for new trainer Jamie Osborne following a 300,000gns switch at the Tattersalls Autumn Sale last year.

Also among the entries are the Willie Mullins-trained Gaucher, Charlie Appleby's Arabian Crown, Warrant Holder for John & Thady Gosden, Shadwell stalwart Al Aasy and Amo Racing's Ghostwriter from the yard of Kevin Philippart de Foy.

I hope Con Hill gets the rain God to oblige. I want Con Hill to run so that this soap opera will come to an end. I think Arabian Crown or Ghostwriter will put this soap opera to bed indefinitely.

And, I hope Hendo retires after the 2026/2027 season - the sooner, the better.

Constitution Hill - would have got into the Ebor by 5 pounds

Carrying - 9st 3lb

Make your own mind up. Happy
Report adamski August 24, 2026 7:35 PM BST
He would have a needed another run beforehand to run in The Ebor. Must have raced at least 3 times on the flat to run in the race.
