Two Year Olds ,eyes popping oot there heed ready to run for there lifes.....Not right imho....Should not be Racing till they are at least Three imho.

I've never had a bet in a Nursery Handicap but what would happen to races like the Middle Park, Dewhurst and Futurity if 2YO's were banned from racing?

Horses are not skeletally mature until around five years of age. Young horses risk serious injury each time they are made to run at high speeds.
As a result, most two-year-olds will sustain injuries in their first year of racing and many of them will not race in the subsequent year.
