betfair hardly have a customer service team let alone people at every track... have u not noticed the direction the liquidity is going...

pretty straight forward, laying horses when the race is live is permitted by bf. betting after the race has finished or photo/SE result is known, isn't.

I wasn't paying attention to that race or the afters until it was nearly all done....but when i saw 'result stands' pop up on RTV the market was still open on my screen and I saw the sweep. I then only saw the scout camera and it appeared to me both horses , in fact all the horses , were migrating slightly across the track under their own steam, so it looked like a result stands to me.

watch david lovells interview with simon nott. That will give you a pretty good idea Cider

Betfair cant manage all there markets, also its nearly impossible from a latency perspective to find out exactly when the result is known. Betfair in the most don't even bother

I don't need to watch any interview. I'm telling you that's what used to happen. Sweepers risked a ban, and some did. Betfair didn't rely on the suspend monkey, I believe they used the published time stamp by the BHA.

Anybody leaving money up in Stewards better have a very strong view or be prepared to be "hoovered"

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference during the closing stages, involving the winner, KING’S CRUISER, ridden by Marco Ghiani and TAKE THE BOAT (IRE), placed second, ridden by Harry Vigors. Being a 7lb claimer, Vigors was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved KING’S CRUISER’s placing as despite hanging right-handed, regardless of its rider’s best efforts, and taking TAKE THE BOAT (IRE) off its intended line, little momentum was lost with the rider of TAKE THE BOAT (IRE) able to continue riding his mount forward, to be beaten by a short head. The interference was found to be accidental in that Ghiani was taking reasonable steps to prevent KING’S CRUISER from hanging left-handed.

The second went as low as 1.4 in the Stewards but as the Inquiry continued drifted to 1.9 before the late swipe on the result.

the second caem there looking sure to go by but got nowhere near the shortest odds which is odd

Winner similarly not done at shortest prices either in race nor in photo

2nd was 1.4 in the enquiry , drifted out to 1.6-1.7 towards the end of betting if not further

Winner was swept to 1.01 after the call

Something very similar happeend at this track a good while back now,where a horse carried a horse right and did it not get thrown out? I know there was one involving a bump that did more recently

The trading was normal, until the sweeps.

The photo betting was open for quite a while, but who had won it was clear cut. Would have been 1.01 no offers without risk of interference. So as is often the case, it was a pseudo market on a potential SE, not the actual photo outcome.
